I recently hosted a Yoga Retreat with Earthlinks and I can’t recommend this place enough. The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Everything is decorated with great taste, rooms are big & everything clean.
The open shala can hold a big group of people. There’s plenty of space and props. They provided an outdoor fridge with healthy shots and drinks to take at anytime of the day for free. The food is all vegan, tasty and beautiful.

The hosts Sandra and Jack are so welcoming and helpful. This is a place you will return and its walking distance to Hikkaduwa beach but far enough to have a peaceful quiet sleep. They offer Retreats year round and if you wanna host your own yoga/Pilates/wellness retreat you definitely wanna do it at Earthlinks.

Get ready for Peaceful Warrior Retreat hosted by me in October 2020. I’ve visited place twice, and it is just a real paradise! I had no idea what to expect, but turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I’m completely new to yoga and it have done wonders for my body in just 2 weeks. And the food... best food I've had in my life (sorry mom). Very varied and always tasty. Sandra & Jack are just simply the best

I was at Earthlinks with my students for a training and really enjoyed the week at this wonderful place. Close to the village and beach, but very nicely placed closer to the backwater lake.
The hospitality and friendliness of Sandra and Jack was amazing, food was absolutely delicious, very comfortable rooms and shala.

All the students loved the experience, definitely recommend it!!

Earthlinks is a beautiful place run by beautiful souls. This place is perfection, whether you are in Sri Lanka or not you should go! The vegan food is incredible and innovative, and even if you aren't vegan you certainly will not feel like you are missing out. Each day is planned thoughtfully to make sure everyone gets to do an activity but also so that you have time to relax. This relaxation starts from the moment you start your Earthlinks retreat. Sandra and Jack make sure that you feel at home while exploring another country which is quite incredible. The surf lessons are amazing and will really help you progress no matter your level, and the same with the yoga classes. I had an amazing stay at Earthlinks and would highly recommend this retreat to everyone!

I can’t even put it into words how magical my time in Sri Lanka has been. I’m beyond thankful for all the incredible experiences and memories I got to collect and the amazing people I met along the way. Sri Lanka definitely has a special place in my heart. 

I absolutely loved my retreat stay at the beautiful villa of the Earthlinks. Its location is off the busy main road, somewhat in the jungle, yet close to the beautiful Hikkaduwa beach. The distance to the beach is easily walkable, and at night the ocean can be heard. I booked the 6 day retreat and enjoyed the variety of activities (yoga, surfing, massage, museum, turtle farm, movie nights...) each day included.

I loved that the food is 100% vegan and freshly prepared & cooked for each meal. (One can taste the joy of cooking that Sandra puts into her delicious food). From the second I arrived I felt at home and very welcome. Thanks to Jack and Sandra for being amazing hosts and making this a great stay and my trip end the perfect way!

I had such a wonderful time at Earthlinks! The house is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location. Sandra is AMAZING, so so sweet, welcoming, fun to chat with, and makes the most delicious and beautiful vegan food ever! The on-site yoga is perfect to start or end the day with in a tranquil ambiance by a wonderful instructor.
The surfing is a short ride to the beach with fun instructors. The day tours are fun to explore the outlying areas to get a better feel for what it all has to offer. One of my favorite parts was going to the Buddhist temple at sunrise for meditation. It was such a unique and special experience you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

Spent 12 days in their beautiful villa resting, going on all these amazing trips they arranged for us, sunbathing, reading, doing yoga, movie nights and enjoying Sandra’s amazing cooking (which I miss already, and I just got back home..). This was definitely the kind of trip that I needed - relaxation starts as soon as you set foot in their villa and lasts throughout the whole stay. Highly recommend booking a stay here, you won’t regret it.

EXCELLENT and genuinely INDESCRIBABLE! I don’t have words to describe what an amazing experience I had at Earthlinks. Definitely a little piece of heaven on earth!!
Sandra is the warmest person and she makes you feel at home (a better home than your own!!) The food is just the yummiest and the colonial house is magical, cosy and relaxing!! Yoga classes are amazing and incredibly you can see the changes how you improve after 6 days! It was exactly and more that I was looking for, relax schedule, great food and yoga and the nicest people running it. The cherry of the cake was the sunrise at the lagoon. I really recommend it and I wish to back soon! (Actually, I wish that I have never left!!!).

I had THE MOST amazing time at Earthlinks! Sandra and Jack are fantastic hosts and truly wonderful people. They really go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed - they are so warm and welcoming I immediately felt at home and with friends. I was traveling by myself but I haven't felt alone for one second as they have created a space where people can really connect easily with each other.
The villa is super cosy, immersed in the nature and so beautifully decorated. Food is delicious (Sandra's chocolate ice-cream is the cherry on top!) - even if I'm not vegan myself. The schedule is just perfect: in 6 days with brilliant local instructors I made so much progress in my yoga and surf skills!
I felt so happy and relaxed at Earthlinks, I found exactly the space to unwind from busy life that I was looking for. So happy in fact I ended up extending my stay and really struggled to leave! I'll be back very soon!!

My husband and I spent 4 days at Earthlinks and loved it! Lots to do in and around the resort-everything is a short tuk tuk away. The retreat itself is nestled up the hill so very restful, lush, and green. Our hosts, Jack and Sandra, were perfect - they created a thoughtful itinerary to accommodate both our interests. The yoga was excellent as was the surfing. And the food! My husband is the furthest thing from vegan, but he really enjoyed the meals- especially the bean burgers. Having a trained chef create your vegan meals was a real treat....Moody the resident dog was a blast as well. I really recommend this spot as it's got something for everyone...

Hard to put into words how life changing Earthlinks is. From the impeccably designed interiors, the peaceful location, and the 5* vegan food - that will leave you wanting more even though you can’t physically eat another mouthful! Everything here is set up for a perfect break in a stunning country.

Sandra and Jack go above and beyond to make sure you have the trip that works for you, even if you change your plans daily (as I constantly did! - sorry guys!)

The team of drivers, yoga and surf teachers are all so kind and passionate about what they do. As a solo female traveler I don’t think I have ever felt more safe and welcome on any trip, and I cannot wait to return!

Jack & Sandra are amazing hosts. They are welcoming and thoughtful. You will arrive as a guest but will leave as a friend! They made me feeling at home everyday.

The food was healthy and always fresh prepared. It looked and tasted delicious! The yoga was excellent as was the surfing. Together with some sightseeing it is the perfect mix of doing sport, learning the culture and having also time to relax.

The most magical, beautifully located, hosted with energy straight from the heart. I really cant wait to be back! Oh and the food is amazing as well!

I had a great time staying there. The villa is nicely located close to a beautiful lake and I constantly felt I would be staying in a jungle. The house is a oase of quiteness and a great contrast to more busy Hikkaduwa. Only a couple of minutes by TukTuk and you reach Bodhi Café, Sandra&Jack's Restaurant directly at the beach.

I have traveled a lot in my time and been to the most beautiful islands in Malaysia and Australia. The Earthlinks was in a league of its own. I wish I had words to describe how I felt once I arrived. The food, the ambiance, and the hosts were just first class but with a sense of calmness and stillness. Sandra and Jack let me operate at my own pace and set out an itinerary that was bespoke to me with absolutely no pressure. I was overwhelmed and even shed a tear when I relaxed in one of the hammocks and just had this emotional release of energy that I must have been carrying around with me for months. I knew this break was well over due and that this spot was the spot to 'find' myself. It didn't disappoint. The yoga and the surfing was amazing and Sandra's cooking skills were beyond belief. I can honestly say it was the experience of my life. Thanks guys - i could write a book about my time with you :)

There is one word to describe our experience at this amazing retreat: PARADISE!! Sandra and Jack were welcoming and accommodating to all our needs and showed us around Hikkaduwa like proper locals. They went above and beyond to ensure we have an amazing time and organized a scooter to get around, visits at unique places, an amazing yoga session with a local instructor, movie nights, amazing food and more.. All of this with a passion and care that is just contagious. They're villa is a gemstone stone itself and we ended up extending our stay because it was so hard to say goodbye to what felt like a home away from home.. actually it's like a better version. 

I can not wait to return and see how their retreat has evolved and how Sandra and Jack have managed to create an even better piece of paradise on earth (technically it's not possible, but these two know what they're doing).
